Unlike most other dealers, there is no extra “market adjustment” added to the price of their vehicles. Ask for Andrew Stanley, despite seemingly being a hardcore UT fan, he’ll work hard to make sure your experience there is a winner.
I can always count on Rice to treat me well. They are very conscientious when working with me. The one thing I would like to see improvement upon is looking over the cleanliness of the vehicle after they've serviced/repaired it.

I had an issue with my check engine light (turns out it was the oil change places fault), I called my Saleman Bill Francis and he took care of it immediately. He scheduled me a service appointment and had me a car ready to drive to work for the day. Kamrin helped me with the service part, and she was phenomenal also!!! While traveling, we hit a pothole and noticed a tire was damaged on our truck. After several failed attempts to buy a new tire at a couple if places, we came upon Rice GMC in Knoxville. They didn't have the tire we needed but changed the tire with our spare. They were fast, professional and would not accept payment for their services!!!! Rice is a little far from my home, but I keep going back because they have the best Service Dept. around! I am happy they have straightened out their scheduling as well. Even with the short staffing everywhere, they got me in and out in a timely manner. Teresa and Roger are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have. We found our vehicle through the website and it was extremely easy to purchase. The vehicle was in Spring Hill at the factory and we were kept in the loop for delivery. I needed to leave TN for an out of state family emergency, and Rice was willing to offer a loaner vehicle. Luckily my vehicle came in just in time. They worked hard to apply my protective sprays & spent time going over the numerous features on the vehicle. I love my new vehicle and can't wait to purchase from Rice again!!

As soon as I arrived I was greeted at my vehicle. The service advisor informed me that it would take approximately 2 hours for the work to be completed. I waited in the waiting room and after a hour my vehicle was ready. Fast and professional service. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I brought my truck in again concerning the 8 Speed transmission shifting and vibration issue. Service writer intake could have been better this time but they took it in and re-diagnosed it with no significant findings other than these seem to be a characteristic of the 8 Speed auto trans. The service manager did a good job of explaining that it was ok to drive and reassured me that it wasn't going to break down on me, I just need to drive it more and see how it goes, my truck only has a little over 12,000 miles on it. Needed to start the repair process for a safety recall on my Buick LaCrosse. Service writer was able to look up the VIN number, very that parts for the recall were available, & placed an order for the parts. The service department will call when the parts come in and then we can schedule a date to have the gar repaired per the recall. Other Buick/GMC dealer's service department in town never answered the phone. being recent transplant from the Chicago area, I was very happy with the initial contact i made with Rice Buick/GMC.

I haven't been in a dealership in almost 16 years. I talked to a salesman over the phone the day before going about what I was looking for and inventory. He was knowledgeable on trucks being delivered. The next morning I was there when they opened and met with the salesman I had spoke to the previous evening. Very nice gentleman. No pushing. My wife and i bought a yukon denali yesterday. Marty was the salesman that we dealt with and he was great. Answered all of our questions without pushing the sale. The truck was exactly what they described to us and they didn't try to sneak in any extra fees or charges. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. Great experience and we will definitely check their inventory next time we need a car.

We were on our way home from vacation in South Carolina when we experienced vehicle trouble. GM roadside assistance got our car started and we drove to your dealership. My husband and daughter waited while you service department found the issue and replaced our battery. Everyone we were in contact with was SUPER and we can not thank you enough for helping us to get home. I was late for my appointment, but the staff was very helpful. Service was okay. Suggestion: could you open the battery compartment and check the battery on the GMC Terrains. A few weeks after the service corrosion had so damaged the cable that it had to be replace and the area cleaned. The battery was ready to replace (6 years), but we could have avoided the cost of a new cable and cleaning. To my knowledge Rice alone has serviced the vehicle.

I finally found time to get an oil and filter change for my 2011 Regal and made an appointment for Wednesday June 3rd at 2;30. I should have waited for one day. When I got home there was US Mail from Rice with a $10 discount for oil and filter and this morning I got the same in an e-mail to me. I could have saved $10.
Bought an Enclave last fall from Rice and we couldn't have had a better car buying experiance. The salesman was very pleasant, the staff was helpful. The whole process was very easy and accomidating.
